Privacy Policy
This site is run by one person — Nilesh Makwana — from India. This page explains exactly what happens to your data when you use nilesh.fit. If anything here is unclear, email me at nils.mkwna@gmail.com and I will answer.
Information you give me directly
Two features on this site ask for information, and both are entirely optional. You can read every article without entering anything.
Free Guide download — asks for your name, phone number, email address and your main health goal.
Health Check tool — asks for your name, phone number, age, gender, height, weight, activity level and health goal, and stores the BMI, BMR and calorie estimates it calculates from them.
Both forms submit to a private Google Form, which stores the responses in a Google Sheet that only I can access. I use them to understand who reads the site and, if you have asked me to, to follow up personally.
Health information
The Health Check tool collects details about your body and health goals. I treat this as sensitive. It is never sold, never published, and never shared with advertisers or any other third party. It is used only to generate your on-screen result and, where you have asked for it, to reply to you personally.
The calculation runs in your browser. The submission to my Google Form is what stores it — if you would rather it were not stored, you can close the tool before the final step and still keep your result.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics — I use Google Analytics to see which articles people read and roughly where readers come from. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. I see totals and trends, not individuals.
Google AdSense — this site shows ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links
Some articles link to products on Amazon as an Amazon Associate. Those links carry a tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this site. Amazon's own cookies and privacy policy apply once you follow one. Full detail is on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
What I do not do
- I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone
- I do not run a newsletter or add you to a mailing list without you asking
- There are no user accounts, so there are no passwords to lose
- I do not share the health details you enter with advertisers or partners

- Google AdSense — advertising
- Google Forms / Google Sheets — storing form and Health Check submissions
- Vercel — hosting; standard server logs including IP address
- Amazon Associates — affiliate link attribution, only if you click one
Cookies and how to refuse them
This site sets no cookies of its own. The cookies you may receive come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense, as described above. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, and the site works perfectly well without them.
Your rights over your data
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email nils.mkwna@gmail.com and I will action it, normally within a few days. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information here, email me and I will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If what I collect changes, I will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be noted on the home page as well.
